From your first conversation with Roofing Solutions, you'll discover that we are not your "average" roofing contractor. We take extreme pride in our workmanship and nothing is more paramount than our customer's satisfaction in every step of the process. Our unique process includes:

A thorough inspection of your existing roof including core samples, a capacitance moisture scan (if needed), chemical testing of the existing waterproofing components, inspection of the structural elements, and a walk though of the building to better understand how and where roofing issues may be disrupting your business and costing you money.

A "user friendly" approach to explaining what you have now and what your options are. Forget the traditional black & white CAD sketches and long-winded product descriptions that can be very confusing and hard to interpret. At the initial survey, we will take pictures, shoot video, note precise surface dimensions, and place rooftop equipment. When we return to present the proposal, you will be given a packet containing a complete roof plan to scale, captioned photos, and three-dimensional, color cross-section sketches showing the existing roofing makeup as well as your options available for the new roofing system. We'll skip all the photos of our trucks and our office- this report is 100% about you.

A DVD Roof Analysis will accompany your packet as well. This narrated DVD is designed to show the major findings of the survey and provide analysis of ways to correct the issues shown. In the DVD, we will also outline our proposal and cover the system components from the roof deck up alongside the cross-section sketch. Put simply, we will provide you with all of the tools you will need to make an well educated and well informed decision about what option is right for you.

John Leslie has been very active in the business of re-roofing commercial and industrial structures here in Chicagoland since 1980, having been a Sales Engineer for the largest single-ply applicator in the nation from 1980 to 1985 and subsequently a Sales Engineer to a 50-year old leading Chicagoland contractor from 1985 until he founded Roofing Solutions in 1992.

John has been a speaker / facilitator at National Roofing Contractor’s Association (NRCA) seminars and has attended Design and Maintenance Courses for roofing and masonry repairs at the University of Wisconsin.

Erik Leslie graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Economics in May of 2008. In addition to operations and sales support, Erik focuses on the graphic design of all Roofing Solutions marketing materials as well as DVD Roof Analysis editing and production.
